Welcome to the 9th European Symposium on Vascular Biomaterials meeting!
The ESVB meeting lives the multidisciplinary approach to research and development activities in the field of vascular biomaterials.

Currently, the amount of knowledge produced in biomedical science and the rhythm at which it is spread among the scientific community are both increasing. It is thus important for clinicians to bridge the gap between basic science and clinical practice, as well for engineers and researchers to understand the clinical needs.

Moreover, clinicians are confronted with emerging imaging technologies that are more and more sophisticated while vascular implants and treatment technologies become more and more complex. An appropriate understanding and training in these new technologies become therefore additional key issues to treat patients in a better way.

In this context, the ESVB symposium will focus on current burning topics about materials, techniques and technologies.

We are looking forward to welcome you in Strasbourg on October 16-17th, 2015 for the 9th European Symposium on Vascular Biomaterials!
